[00:00:00] Speaker A: Foreign. [00:00:14] Speaker B: Voice of the Lord all you people, help us be ready to obey what he says with one voice. Let us say we will do things your way. Yes, Lord. We'll do what you say. [00:00:31] Speaker C: Welcome to the Way of Life program. The Way of Life is designed to draw us into a deeper fellowship and knowledge of Jesus Christ and his desires for his children. [00:00:41] Speaker D: Welcome to the program entitled the Way of Life. Thank you for welcoming me into your space again. Over the past few days we have been speaking of the attributes, the many attributes of God. Some being that he is self sufficient, everlasting and perfect. Right now I'm going to speak of his omnipresence. God is omnipresent. Can you grasp this? It means God is all present. His presence is everywhere simultaneously. He is not limited by space as we are. He is unlimited. Just think about that. He is unlimited. In Jeremiah, verses 23 to 24, it says, Am I only a God nearby? Declares the Lord, and not a God far away who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them, declares the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? Declares the Lord. What this means is that we can all go before him and fellowship with him anytime and anywhere. We are always in his presence. We are always in his presence. We don't have to go meet him in a building because his presence is with us right where we are now. However, it is important for us to gather together in one place to worship God. As it says in Hebrews 10:25, we don't go there to meet the presence of God because His presence is everywhere. Psalm 139, 7:12 reads, where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend into heaven, you are there. If I make my bed in hell, you are there. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. If I say, surely the darkness shall fall on me, even the light shall be light around me. Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from you, but the night shines as a day. The darkness and light are both alike to you, those of us who are believers in Jesus Christ. His presence resides in us by his Spirit, the same Spirit that hovered over the face of the deep and said, let there be, and there was the earth took form. I pray this possessor and creator of the universe will help us to understand who he is and open our eyes to see him. Because today we come not asking for gifts or for him to make us great but it's just that we want to know him so that we can serve him in the right way. So may he continue to reveal Himself to us and help us to know him. Amen. Until next time. [00:04:19] Speaker B: Hear the voice of the Lord. All you people, help us be ready to obey what he says. With one voice. Let us say we will do things your way. Yes, Lord. We'll do what you say. [00:04:38] Speaker C: Thank you for tuning in to the Way of Life program. Join us next time as we grow in our knowledge and love of Christ Jesus. Until next time. God bless.
