[00:00:00] Speaker A: Foreign.
[00:00:14] Speaker B: Voice of the Lord. All you people, help us be ready to obey what he says with one voice. Let us say we will do things your way. Yes, Lord. We'll do what you say.
[00:00:31] Speaker C: Welcome to the Way of Life program. The Way of Life is designed to draw us into a deeper fellowship and knowledge of Jesus Christ and his desires for his children.
[00:00:42] Speaker D: Good day. This is Charmaine with you yet another time. Thank you for welcoming me into your space. Last two programs we spoke on God being everlasting, which means that God is not limited by time. And then that God is self sufficient, which means that he is independent of everything and exists without the help of anything. Today, another one of his attributes that I'm going to share is that God is immutable.
This means he is unchangeable and is forever the same. The nature of God will never change. I'll say that again. The nature of God will never change. He will never lie because he is the truth. He will never be unrighteous because he is righteous. He will never be unjust because he is just.
He will never be unfaithful because he is faithful. This means the characteristics of God will never change. He wants us to know that this is the beauty of God.
Human beings change, the world changes. People believe one thing today and tomorrow they believe something else. Or today act one way and tomorrow act another.
Not so with God. He remains the same throughout time and throughout eternity. He is unchangeable. When he makes a promise, you can believe it.
You can hold onto it without doubting. Because he remains the same. He cannot change and will not change.
When we come to know him and understand his nature and his ability, then faith will arise in our hearts because we know he who has promised is faithful in Psalm 9, 10. And those who know your name will put their trust in you.
Our trust in God will be as strong as our knowledge of Him. Our trust in God will be as strong as our knowledge of Him. The more intimate our knowledge of God, the more we will trust him entirely. In Daniel 11:32, the people who know their God shall be strong and shall do great exploits.
So again God wants us to know Him. He wants us to understand who he is, who he can be in our lives. So God is everlasting. God is self sufficient and God is immutable. He does not change. Thank you again for listening. Enjoy your day.
[00:04:26] Speaker B: Hear the voice of the Lord. All you people of earth. Be ready to obey what he says with one voice. Let us say we will do things your way. Yes, Lord will do what you say.
[00:04:45] Speaker C: Thank you for tuning in to the Way of Life program. Join us next time as we grow in our knowledge and love of Christ Jesus. Until next time. God bless.
